Pihue Creations began in 2021 in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh — the GI-tagged carpet capital of India — with a simple conviction: the world's best interiors deserve honestly made rugs, and the artisans who make them deserve honest work.

Pihue is the work of Deep and Ruchika, co-founders whose backgrounds in banking and IT met a shared respect for handmade craft. Deep, raised in Bhadohi among looms and weavers, brought generations of local knowledge; together they built a manufacturing house that pairs traditional technique with modern process — CAD-first design, documented quality control, and on-time export delivery.

What began as a small workshop now connects hundreds of skilled weavers and craftspeople across rural India. Every rug that leaves our looms carries their hands and their livelihoods — and our GoodWeave certification guarantees what we promise: no child labour, ever, with fair wages and audited working conditions.

Quality and ethics at Pihue are third-party verified, not self-declared: GoodWeave, RWS-certified wool, Oeko-Tex tested, GRS for recycled fibres, ISO 9001:2015 quality management and SMETA social audit. Buyers receive audit-ready documentation with their orders.

What We Make

Hand-knotted, Indo-Tibetan, kilim, handloom, cut-and-loop and shaggy constructions — in wools from twelve origins, silk, jute, sisal, hemp and abaca. From a single bespoke piece for a designer to full private-label programs for global brands, every piece passes per-rug quality checks before it ships.
