Wool Rug Manufacturer in India — RWS Certified, 12 Origins
From Responsible Wool Standard–certified fleece to finished export-grade rugs: we manufacture hand-knotted, Indo-Tibetan, kilim, handloom, cut-and-loop and shaggy wool rugs in Bhadohi for retailers, designers and hotels worldwide. Minimum order: one rug. This page is our complete reference on wool — the origins we stock, the constructions we weave, and how to spec the right wool for your project.
Why Wool
Performance: natural resilience and crush recovery; the fibre's scale structure hides soiling; inherently flame-resistant compared to synthetics. Longevity: a well-made wool rug is a decades asset — the reason hospitality and heritage retailers specify wool first. Sustainability: renewable, biodegradable, and ours is available certified from responsibly managed flocks (RWS) with full chain of custody.

Wool Origins — One of the Widest Ranges of Any Indian Rug Manufacturer
Matched to your hand, budget and performance spec — yarn counts from zero to 100 count, single or multi-ply:
New Zealand wool — long-staple, high whiteness; takes pale and pastel dye shades cleanly. The premium choice for hand-knotted and fine tufted work.
Himalayan wool — naturally lustrous highland fibre with excellent hand and body; heirloom character for knotted pieces.
Argentine wool — fine, uniform, superb dye uptake; modern hand-tufted and Indo-Tibetan constructions in saturated colour.
Afghan wool — robust, characterful, spun in the tribal tradition; vintage-look and hard-wearing pieces.
Sardinian wool — coarse, springy, strikingly textural; rustic kilims and flatweaves with a matte, natural face.
English wool — medium staple, resilient, historically the benchmark for wear-tested carpet.
Australian wool — broad dye range; the workhorse for contract programs.
Merino — superfine, soft, high-crimp; the fine end of the wool spectrum for bedroom and premium retail.
Indian superfine wool — domestic staple with excellent value; hand-knotted and hand-tufted programs where price sensitivity meets soft-hand requirements.
Specialty fibres, same looms: Cashmere (rare, ultra-luxury small pieces and blends) · Mohair (high lustre, resilient, dye-brilliant statement rugs) · Alpaca (silky-soft, warm-toned, premium residential).
Blends of any of the above — wool-viscose, wool-bamboo-silk, wool-jute, two-origin wool blends — to hit any spec-price point.

Constructions We Manufacture in Wool
Hand-knotted — knot by knot on an upright loom; the heirloom construction, available across our full wool range. Indo-Tibetan weave — various knot counts; Highland weaving tradition adapted to Bhadohi looms; clean modern hand in a range of price points. Kilim / flatweave — reversible, lightweight, high-traffic; ideal for layering and contract. Handloom (loom-knotted) — cut-pile or loop-pile with a clean modern face; fast to produce, attractive in price. Cut & loop pile (with carving) — sculpted surfaces combining cut and loop textures; carving detail brings the pattern into relief. Shaggy / long-pile — deep, plush pile for high-comfort residential and boutique bedrooms.
All fully customizable — size, colour, pile height, backing, finish.
Lead Times
Indicative combined sampling + production windows; per-project schedules are planned backward from your install date: Hand-knotted 45–90 days · Hand-tufted 35–60 days · Handloom / flatweave 35–45 days · Hand-braided 25–30 days.

RWS — What It Means for Buyers
The Responsible Wool Standard certifies animal welfare and land management at farm level, and an unbroken chain of custody from fleece to finished rug. What our buyers get: audit-ready documentation to support their own ESG and sustainability claims — request our certificate scope with your quote.
Colour & Customization
Shade-card-driven dyeing: custom poms matched to Pantone TPX or your physical references, dye-lot control per order. Any size including circular, runners of any length, and irregular shapes for FF&E. CAD renders before sampling. Private label: your brand labels, care tags and packaging.

Minimum Order
One rug — from a single bespoke piece for a designer to full container programs. Single-rug MOQ across every wool construction; no minimum is too small to start.
Caring for Wool Rugs
Vacuum regularly without a beater bar; blot spills immediately with a dry white cloth; rotate seasonally for even wear; professional cleaning for deep care. Wool's lanolin-coated fibre releases dry soil easily — the myth that wool is hard to clean is exactly backwards.
